Court booking for sport associations
Every court.
One slate.
CourtSlate puts every venue, court and half court on one calendar. A double booking is refused before it is saved, and hirer statements come from the same bookings.
How it works
Four steps, from an empty calendar to a hirer statement.
Step 1: Set up your venues
Add each venue and its courts, with a full court and a half court rate, opening hours for each day of the week, and closures such as school holidays.

Click a slot or drag down a court to book it. A clash, a closed court or a time outside opening hours is refused before it is saved, and a weekly repeat is checked for every date.

The dashboard shows today and this week. Find any booking in the list with filters, drag a session to another day, copy a week forward and approve requests.

Every booking works out its cost and GST from the court's rate. Print a statement for each hirer, and filter the bookings report by venue, hirer and booking type.

For competitions run in PlayHQ
Fixture the competition
Running a competition in PlayHQ as well? Upload its results after each round. CourtSlate pairs the next round, sets courts and times from your bookings, and hands back a file to import. The scheduling rules are set up with each association.

Results come in
Upload the PlayHQ results file after each round.
Next round is paired
Generate the matchups, read them, save.
Courts and times are set
The scheduler uses the courts booked under the booking type you pick for games.
A file goes back
Download it and import it into PlayHQ.
What it does
The rest of what is in the app, a line each.
Owner, admin and staff
Admins change settings and invite people. A booking made by staff is saved as pending until an admin approves it.
Import a season
Bring bookings in from a spreadsheet saved as CSV. Each row is checked first, and rows with problems are listed and skipped.
Undo and restore
Delete by mistake and Undo puts the booking back. After that, an admin can restore it from the Cancelled tab.
Your name, logo and colour
Add your association's name, logo and colour in Settings and the whole app uses them.
Works on a phone
Open it in the browser on your phone. The main screens sit on tabs along the bottom.
Weekly email
Each week, admins are emailed the week ahead, with anything that needs a decision at the top.
Health check
The owner has a Health tab that shows whether the app can reach its database, and lists any problem a user has hit.
Notices for clubs
When sessions move, CourtSlate drafts one message for each club with only that club's sessions. You send it yourself.
